How to Get the Achievement Monster Skull in Return of the Boogeyman

Monster Skull is an achievement in the game Return of the Boogeyman. I’m not sure if this is the game that automatically gave me this achievement on logging into the game, but you’re supposed to click into the About section of the main menu to obtain it.

Monster Skull Achievement

Check the ABOUT section for more monsters & girls!

That description is the kind of vague tease that sounds like it’s pointing you toward some hidden gallery full of dripping, depraved content.

Unfortunately, you’d be wrong.

Instead, Monster Skull is a loyalty reward — the game wants you to care about where it comes from, and what might come after. And if you’ve played the meager thirty minutes length of this bizzarely portrayed, monster-fucking game, you might be a little intrigued to find what else the devs have in store.

I mean, you get fucked by the boogeyman here, anything has to top that, right?

Steps to Obtaining the Monster Skull Achievement

Step 1: Boot up the game. From the main menu, don’t select Continue, don’t select New Game, don’t do anything your impatient little hands are telling you to do,–unless they’re telling you to grab your cock in preparation for this while ride.

Even so, just click ABOUT.

Step 2: That’s it. That’s the achievement. You click ABOUT, you read the section, and the game drops Monster Skull into your lap.

That is, if the game doesn’t automatically gift you the achievement when you start the game. That’s definitely happened with another game from this dev.

Now — set your expectations. The ABOUT section isn’t a gallery. There are no preview images of a monster looming over its girl, no concept art of that hunched, bark-skinned form pinning some gorgeous, trembling woman to a bed. It’s not that kind of tease. What you do get is the developer’s info — where to follow them, where to support them, and the little credit that this depraved little thing was built with Ren’Py.

That’s it. That’s all she wrote.

But here’s why it matters — and why it’s sexy in its own right. Some developer sat down with Ren’Py — a free, open-source visual novel engine — and built a world where the boogeyman doesn’t just haunt you in the dark. He fucks you in it. He claims every hole, marks every inch, and makes you thank him for the privilege. That kind of vision doesn’t come from a studio with a budget. It comes from someone who needed to create this. Someone who looked at the intersection of fear and desire and said, yes, more of that, make it Wetter.

The ABOUT section is where you find that person. Where you follow them. Where you throw a few dollars at some of their other monster-fucker games so they can keep making the kind of content that makes you grip your desk and bite your lip and wonder why this is the thing that does it for you.

Monster Skull isn’t an achievement for the game. It’s an achievement for the dev. A little nudge that says: Hey. The person who made the thing that’s making you squirm? They’re right here. Go find them.

And honestly? Supporting the people who make the things that ruin us in all the best ways — that’s the sexiest thing you can do.

Even if the boogeyman isn’t sexy at all.
