How to Get the Achievement Replay in Return of the Boogeyman

Replay is an achievement in the game Return of the Boogeyman. At the end of the game, you’re met with multiple choices. You’ll want to choose “I want to start the game from the beginning.”

Replay Achievement

After everything — the bath, the grab, the fingers, the tongue, the cock, the cum, the surrender — after Natalie promises not to sell the house and pledges herself as his and wears his load like a wedding ring, Return of the Boogeyman looks at you and asks one more thing.

Play again?

The achievement description reads: “Play the game again!”

No metaphor. No innuendo. Not even a clever double meaning about holes or monsters or sweets. Just a straight-up request from a game that knows exactly what it just did to you and is betting you want to feel it again.

I can’t say off of my memory alone, but I’m not sure if you can boot this game back up and hit New Game and have the achievement pop up like Natalie’s attention whenever she sees the Boogeyman’s cock from now on.

I want to say it’s a requirement to choose the specific option at the end of the game in order to reap the benefits of this achievement.

Steps to Earning the Replay Achievement

Step 1: Finish the game. Once the final scene hits Natalie square in the face with a load of cum, quite literally, and the credits roll — or don’t roll, because this is a Ren’Py game and most of the credits are just a Patreon link and a prayer — you’ll reach the end.

Step 2: Multiple choices appear. The game offers you several paths — a chance to relive Natalie’s encounters, a link to their other games through your own possible current neediness for more, and even a quick out option for people with self-control.

You want the top option.

Step 3: Select “I want to start the game from the beginning.”

That’s it. Achievement drops. You’re back at start. Natalie is back in her childhood home. The bathtub is full. The closet door is slightly ajar. And the boogeyman is in the hall beyond, lurking and waiting like a perv.

Replay is the game’s way of saying: You came here for the monster. You came here for the girl. Now do it again. And the fact that it’s an achievement — that replaying is rewarded — tells you everything about what this game thinks of itself.

That’s right, a little too highly, given my two-star rating.
